Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two time world heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's largest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters participated in the traditional face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
